2024 Election Results:

Dear Fellow Democrats:

There are no words to describe the utter disappointment and concern we are all feeling this morning. However, I would like to share some encouraging news with you. Democrats were successful in the following elections.

• NY State ERA Prop 1 passed
  
• Senator Kirsten Gillibrand was re-elected
  
• All five NYS Supreme Court candidates won: Judge Colleen Duffy, Judge Kyle McGovern, Judge Scattaretico Naber, Brett Broge, Rachel Tanguay
  
• George Latimer won the House Seat to represent the 16th NY Congressional District
  
• State Senator Peter Harckham was re-elected
  
• Susan Cacace won the Westchester County District Attorney seat
  
• Somers resident, Sheralyn Pulver Goodman won the Westchester County Court seat
  
• All four Westchester County Family Court Candidates won: Raynette Brewster, Allison Burke, Judge Maritza Fugaro Norton, Sharon Mathie

I would like to thank our other Democratic candidates for running very intense campaigns, and all the Somers Democrats who contributed to campaigns, walked candidate petitions, participated in canvasses, coordinated our sign distributions, did phone banking and postcard writing. We will continue to communicate our values and work toward our democratic ideals.
